This is the image of a cap and gown that gave me motivation to continue my education when I felt like giving up. Getting an education, being a first generation student and graduating comes with many obstacles for many students of color. I created and shared this illustration to inspire and motivate other folx who also felt like giving up and maybe lost hope of being able to reach their goal of graduating from college.
